Prayer Letter for Germany - January 2024

Dear intercessors,

At the beginning of the new year, you will be reading in the first section of this month's prayer letter the following: 

"The Lord said that: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”. He deals with weakness in a completely different way and wants to give us the key to overcome weakness at this time. There is a fertile field all around our weakness with top-soil ready for us to plant something new – with his resurrection power!"

When we experience a sense of weakness as we approach our times of prayer, let us use this picture of a fertile field to encourage us to look outside of ourselves and ask the Lord to show us those areas around us into which we can pray "with his resurrection power" and with confidence in his perfect mercy and grace. 

This will certainly be important for us as we ask for God to reveal to us how we should pray for the catastrophic situation in his land of Israel and for a peaceful solution to the continued aggression of Russia against Ukraine, and pray particularly for how Germany (and our own countries) can effectively contribute to restoring the peace with God's righteousness and justice in Israel and in Ukraine in this year, 

May God bless you richly in 2024.
